Hi! I’m Melinda.

I’m someone who feels most at home when I’m creating and when I’m in nature – often both at the same time. I love working with my hands, whether that’s with clay, glass, mosaic, or fibre, and I’m constantly inspired by the natural world around me – the textures of leaves, the shape of seed pods, the colours of the earth, and the way things grow and change over time.

I run creative workshops because I love sharing that process with others. I’ve been a teacher for thirty years, and now I’m ready to slow down, and share my years of creative exploration with others. I believe there is something really special about slowing down, getting your hands into materials, and watching something come to life that didn’t exist before. My classes are relaxed, supportive, and all about enjoying the process as much as the end result.

You don’t need to be “artistic” or experienced to join in – just curious and willing to have a go. I’ll guide you step by step, and you’ll always be surprised by what you’re able to create.
